January 2005 We started the year
with an endorsement of QCT's commitment to service , support and
value for money. Newburgh Engineering Company in Bradwell took
delivery of their third Co-ordinate measuring machine for a new
factory. The Machine is full CNC control with a PH10T - TP20 probe
system . QCT have now supplied three machines to Newburgh and
retro-fitted three other's within the company.
June 2005 Saw us at the National Motorcycle Museum
Birmingham June 15th - 16th, for Quality in Manufacturing 2005
(QM'05). We demonstrated the MicroScribe MX fully portable
measuring arm.
QCT offer a special package consisting of a MicroScribe MX arm, laptop PC, Inspect3D
(Geometric) and Inspect 2 Cad (Cad based surface measurement
software). This is an ideal package for applications such as
sheet metal work ,plastic components,castings etc.

2004 InspectfromCad is
launched, a full standalone offline programming software, allowing
the teaching of a program from the cad file. Designed in the same
way as QCT2000 and Inspect ² Cad with the emphasis on ease of use
and speed.
April 2004 April 19 - 23rd QCT were at MACH 2004 held at
Birmingham's NEC Stand No 5827.
January 2004 Tentec Limited, of West Bromwich in a joint
venture with Aspen Technology, Budapest, Hungary, have purchased a
second refurbished co-ordinate measuring machine for their factory
in Budapest. The machine with QCT2000 software was installed and
calibrated by QCT. This is the 3rd time in less than a year a very
satisfied customer has returned to QCT for another CMM. This is
yet further proof of QCT's attention to supplying the best service
and support to its customers.
May 2003 Newburgh Engineering Company in Bradwell take delivery of their second Poli Globo measuring machine, with QCT2000 software and controller. The Machine with full CNC control and PH10T will work along side its manual counterpart. With another company returning to QCT for its second machine, it is seen as further proof of our commitment to the service and support of our customer's
April 2003 Roberts Metrology Services becomes QCT's exclusive representative for the USA, Roberts Metrology can supply all QCT's products through a network of distributors. Their show room now display's the QCT Quantum the first in America and can also provide software demonstrations of QCT2000 and Inspect²CAD

April 2003 April 15-17th QCT exhibited the Quantum CMM for the first time in America
at the Quality Expo Exhibition in Chicago USA .
March 2003 - Quantum Proves Its self :
Columbia Precision based in Aston Birmingham , a thriving Blue Chip Engineering Company with a National and International client base, first saw the Quantum 664NC at Mach2002 , being initially impressed they arranged a series of demo's at QCT and 4 other CMM manufactures.
Columbia carried out accuracy and repeatability test, studied the machines construction and quality . After several visits back to QCT and many of our competitors , QCT came out top and Columbia ordered their first Quantum in October 2002.
So pleased with their decision and the reliability of their Quantum they have now ordered and taken delivery of their second identical Quantum 664NC.

July 2002 Sales of the New Quantum designed and built by QCT continue to grow.One of the latest being a Quantum 6.10.4 CNC to Hone-All Precision.

November 2001 The first batch of Quantum's were delivered, including a Quantum measuring 1.60 m in the Y axis. The extended length was required by Profile Gauge Co, to allow the inspection of anti roll bar gauges.The gauges are checked against customer CAD files using QCT's Inspect ² Cad

The Quantum 664 was launched at Inspex 2001, but the Quantum
proved to be such an eye catcher, that QCT had firm orders and deposits
on all of the first production run ,even before the Inspex launch .July 2001, The Quantum CMM another key project , is available for demonstration. With the addition of the Quantum & Inspect ² Cad to the already successful QCT 2000 software . QCT are firmly placed as a major force within the CMM World.
April 2001 Saw us at the Quality Expo Exhibition in Chicago, USA, QCT unveiled a new software package. Their best selling QCT-2000 CMM measuring software will be further enhanced with the option of Inspect²CAD, which will provide the CMM user with the easiest ever solution for inspecting components directly to CAD data.

expanded to double size, with the acquisition of a duplicate unit next
door to the existing site; this will give the floor space required for
their planned future developments.January 2001 Our ISO 9001 accreditation, which we have held since 1997, being audited and approved to the latest updated standard, ISO 9001:2000. QCT are one of the first Companies to achieve this new standard and, in addition to our UKAS accreditation to calibrate CMMs to ISO10360-2, QCT see this as further proof of their commitment to improve an already high quality of service for their customers
